IN WHICH CASES DOES THE OPTIONATA BUYER PROTECTION APPLY?

You can always make use of the Optionata Buyer Protection when you have ordered a watch from us. The order must have been placed through the Optionata system or you must have concluded the purchase contract with us during an on-site appointment.

HOW LONG IS THE OPTIONATA BUYER PROTECTION VALID?

If you want to report a problem, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the delivery, stating your order number.

WARRANTY

WHAT SECURITY DOES A WATCH WARRANTY GIVE ME?

A warranty promise is an additional, voluntary service from us as a dealer or the manufacturer, which guarantees unconditional compensation. The warranty commitment refers to the functionality of certain parts or the entire watch over a previously defined period.

We give you a 1-year warranty on the functionality of the watches you purchase from us. The purchase contract is dated and stamped or signed by us. This is also the warranty period.

It's simple! On the product pages, you can buy the watch directly through Optionata. Click the green "Buy" button on the product page. During the checkout process, you can choose between alternative payment methods. The Optionata team is available to assist you throughout the entire purchase process and ensures a smooth shopping experience.

We are not a platform, so we as Optionata are your contractual partner. Feel free to review our corresponding terms and conditions.

WHERE CAN I REPORT CONCERNS ABOUT THE AUTHENTICITY OF A WATCH?

We handpick and select every watch ourselves. Therefore, the likelihood is almost excluded. Nevertheless, you can report a suspicious item directly to us. Please describe the irregularities precisely. We will then review your report and take appropriate measures if necessary.

HOW CAN I RECOGNIZE A COUNTERFEIT?

If we demonstrably offer a replica, we will take it back upon request and refund the purchase price.

Please note that authentic brand watches are sometimes equipped with replacement parts during a repair that do not exactly match the original parts originally installed in this model. Especially with vintage watches, there is sometimes a shortage of replacement parts.

HOW QUICKLY IS THE WATCH AVAILABLE?

We are not a platform but sell watches from our own inventory. Therefore, our watches are immediately available.

WHAT IS THE REFERENCE NUMBER OF A LUXURY WATCH?

The reference number of a luxury watch uniquely identifies the watch model.

SELLING A WATCH

HOW QUICKLY DO I RECEIVE MY MONEY AFTER THE SALE?

When selling to Optionata, you receive the money in cash upon personal handover or by bank transfer within 1-3 days for postal handover.

WHAT DOES SELLING TO OR THROUGH OPTIONATA COST?

We offer 2 options for selling your watches in our shop:

Option 1

Sale to us = immediate cash

Option 2

Sale on consignment through our platform. You send us your watch, we handle the entire sales process: take professional photos of the watch, prepare the exclusive newsletter for our registered customers and interested parties, create the online listing, and manage the entire sales initiation and sale. You don't have to worry about anything. For a successful sale, we charge a commission of 20% of the sale price. This commission is only due if you successfully sell your watch. We deduct the commission directly when paying out the sale price to you.

HOW LONG IS MY LISTING ONLINE?

Your listing is initially sent as part of our exclusive newsletter and then shown online on Optionata for 1 month. During this time, you may not offer or sell the item elsewhere. If you have not sold your item during this time, we will contact you to discuss further options.

HOW MANY WATCHES CAN I LIST WITH YOU FOR SALE AT THE SAME TIME?

You can list up to 10 listings with us simultaneously.

DOES OPTIONATA BUY WATCHES DIRECTLY?

As an online dealer, Optionata buys watches directly. The trade always takes place between Optionata and the seller. Therefore, we continuously buy, appraise, or check goods.

WHEN IS THE SALES COMMISSION DUE?

If you choose option 2, a commission of 20% of the sale price is due upon a successful sale. This commission is only due if you successfully sell your watch. We deduct the commission directly when paying out the sale price to you. The net amount will be paid to you immediately.

ABOUT FINANCING OPTIONS

The basic requirement for approval of online financing is a positive credit check by the payment service provider Klarna.
