Technically, the Tissot including the chronograph function works perfectly and has been freshly serviced: (288°; +11s/d).
The watch shows hardly any signs of use. There are no deep scratches, dents, or the like; the glass is scratch-free.
TISSOT was founded in 1853 as the watchmaking workshop Ch. Félicien Tissot & Fils by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Emile Tissot in Switzerland. Today, Tissot is part of the Swiss Swatch Group.
Since 1915, Tissot has been manufacturing luxury wristwatches and since the 1920s with its own movements. International expansion was quickly and successfully promoted, conquering new markets with high-quality Swiss products. Due to the collapsing sales markets in Russia, Tissot sought a merger with Omega in 1930 to form the 'Societe Suisse pour l’Industrie Horlogere'. After successful decades, the quartz crisis in the 1970s led to the founding of the Swatch Group in 1983, which still owns the company and brand today.
Today, Tissot is one of the most traditional and internationally renowned Swiss manufacturers of high-quality and luxury watches and is a major player in the Swiss watch industry worldwide.
